We 'Moustache' You a Question!

On Wednesday of this week we learned about different types of sentences including: statements, questions, and exclamations.  Students practiced using periods, question marks, and exclamation marks.  On Thursday, we then focused specifically on questions and spent time learning about question words.  Students practiced asking each other who, what, where, when, and why questions.

WE 'MOUSTACHE' YOU A QUESTION!!

On Friday students used what they'd learned about question words to write their own questions for the fun projects below.  I was VERY impressed with their writing and creativity!!

We took some time this week to explore and create with pattern blocks.

Students enjoyed sharing their 100th Day Collections and their 100th Day homework with their classmates.

Here's the 100th Day of School quilt!  Every student in kindergarten made their own square during our 100th Day party.

A fun class photo before the weekend! :-)
