100th Day of School & End of the Week

Thursday was the 100th Day of Kindergarten!!  I am so proud of students and all of the hard work that they have done in our first 100 days!

On Thursday afternoon we celebrated the 100th day with all the other kindergarten classes.  In our classroom students made quilt squares for our big 100th Day quilt.  In the other classrooms students made hats, built with 100 objects, tallied to 100, and made a special 100th day snack.  It was a very fun afternoon!

On Friday we concluded our unit about community helpers by learning about going to the doctor.  Students worked in doctor teams to put together a skeleton.

In math on Friday, students used balance scales to find out which objects were heavier and which were lighter.
