All week long we've been learning about dairy farms and cows.
We started the week on Monday by doing a step-by-step drawing of a cow. We then used our segmenting skills to label our drawings.
On Tuesday, we brainstormed a list of cow facts and made a cow project.
On Wednesday we learned more about dairy farms and the products that we get from cows. Students each made their own petal booklet.
On Thursday, students spent the entire afternoon making dairy farm dioramas. They all worked so hard and their dioramas turned out great!

This week we have also been learning about the characters. On Wednesday we learned that characters are all the people, animals, and creatures in a story. Yesterday we learned the difference between main characters and other characters. Students had a chance to look through their a picture book to determine who the characters were.
