This week we've been learning all about my favorite children's author -- Mo Willems. We started on Monday by reading a biography all about Mo Willems.
On Tuesday we read several of Mo Willems' Pigeon books...
Then students made their own Pigeon hats...
After reading both Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus and Don't Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late students made their own pages of what the Pigeon shouldn't be able to do!
Today we read the newest Elephant & Piggie book (it was just released yesterday)!!
Then students read Elephant & Piggie books with partners...
Lastly students created their own Elephant & Piggie cartoons. Check out a few of them below...
