Last Friday we had our annual Constitution Day assembly. Students had a chance to listen to Roseville's new superintendent speak, watch the 5th graders act our the Preamble, and meet Blaze the Tiger!

At the end of last week we spent some time talking about friendship and then made a friendship quilt. Each student drew a picture of something they like to do with their friends.
Today we had a visit from children's book author and illustrator Salina Yoon. We had a lot of fun hearing about her books and watching her draw a picture of one of her characters, Penguin.
Students have been having a lot of fun making new friends and being creative during choice time!
