Before break students had a chance to create snowmen. First they painted the body of their snowmen. Then they used paper to create all the other parts for their snowmen.
We also read the book Snowmen At Night by Caralyn Buehner and created the projects below. Students had to write what their snowmen would do at night.
On Monday, we began a week long author's study of Jan Brett. We started by read the book The Mitten.
After we read the book students survyed their classmates to find out what their favorite animal from the book was.
